Overview
About Me
I am a passionate traveller from north India; in Jammu and Kashmir from a valley called Pir Panjal. I was born and brought in the countryside, I love nature, villages, minimal and simple life.
I am naturally curious, cheerful and optimistic person.
I love hiking, camping, trekking, meeting new people and meaningful conversations.
I'm a calm and observant person who enjoys travelling alone, but I also truly value being part of a group.
I also make vlogs and videos on YouTube from my travels.
I'm a quick learner, organized, and a great cook! I'm happy to help with household chores, cooking meals, or any task that needs an extra pair of hands.
I want to travel and save money on accommodation. (This is true, but it's only half the story).
I want to travel more meaningfully by immersing myself in local cultures, not just passing through. I believe the best way to learn is by sharing skills and daily life with people from different backgrounds. I'm eager to help with your projects and learn new things along the way!
For me, Couchsurfing is about connection. I can't wait to learn about your way of life, share stories, and become a part of your stories. I'm responsible and tidy.
I am mostly carrying camping equipment on my backpacking trips including sleeping bag, tent, hammock and other camping essentials so even you can’t host me in your home I can pitch my tent in the backyard. I just need a free place to put up for sleeping and people to connect with. :)

For the guests: I live in a remote village in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, about 120 km northwest from Jammu; the nearest big city. If you want me to host you, you'll have to come to a remote place, very offbeat from the usual tourism places in Jammu and Kashmir. My village, in fact the whole area is not very touristy but could be quite interesting if you are a traveller, not a tourist!! (iykyk).
Also it takes about 6 hours to reach my home from Jammu depending on the car and the route, it's hilly but most part is paved, maybe last 10km are a bit bumpy.
