Heyya Volks! I was born in Berlin, spent my first 10 years in Portugal, and then another 10 in Germany. I decided to dedicate my work and studies to renewable energy—and not long after, I started traveling.

The countries and people I’ve met along the way really shifted my perspective. These days, what matters most to me is understanding local dynamics and learning from the experiences that come with them.

From traveling through Central America by bus and hitchhiking, working in a kitchen in the Canadian Rockies, bikepacking across Japan, surfing in the Philippines, to hiking in Nepal—this journey has brought me countless meaningful connections. And I’m always excited for the next one!
