Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Ahsen. I’m 23 years old, from Turkey and currently doing my Erasmus in Spain. I study psychology and law and I love traveling! This is my first ever trip around Europe and it feels like a dream I’ve waited years for traveling has been my biggest dream since childhood.
I’m a curious soul who loves getting lost in cities, stories, and conversations. I’m passionate about psychology especially the human mind, emotions, and how culture shapes who we are. I also love films, collecting perfumes.
Istanbul is my chaotic but magical home where East meets West. I grew up surrounded by contrasts and traditions, which probably explains why I enjoy meeting people from different cultures so much. For me traveling isn’t just about seeing places it’s about connecting with people, learning their stories, and sharing parts of ourselves.
I’m bubbly and social but I also appreciate calm moments and thoughtful conversations. I believe the best travel memories often come from shared meals, spontaneous walks, and deep late-night talks with strangers who turn into friends.
I always love bringing a small gift or something meaningful from wherever I’ve been.
I absolutely love animals. I have two cats back home Piko and Loki. So if you have a cat, dog, or any pet, I’ll be especially excited to stay with you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of music but The Strokes is my favorite band. I love chick flicks and La La Land is my all-time favorite movie. I also really admire Sofia Coppola as a director. In my free time I like playing volleyball and going on long walks :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I founded a student club to support children who survived the earthquake by helping them with their schoolwork and I’m really proud that we were able to reach and support over 200 students. I’ve also volunteered in low-income neighborhoods providing free psychological education to children. In Hatay, one of the areas most affected by the earthquake, I took part in several volunteer projects focused on emotional support and recovery.
