Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that meeting people from different cultures and countries will contribute a lot to me, both in terms of language skills and cultural understanding. I prefer learning about a country not by reading about it somewhere, but by talking face-to-face with its own people. While learning things for myself, I also wanted to teach others something about my own country. I believe I’m a citizen of a proud country, and that’s why I want to represent it in the best way possible—by learning even what I don’t yet know myself, and sharing it with others. I’d like to rediscover our glorious history, our magnificent architectural monuments, our cities, and our people through their eyes—and analyze them together.
