Overview
About Me
I’m Sadid Bin Hasan, a globe-trotting techie and lifelong learner. I recently completed my M.Sc. in Computing Science at the University of Alberta, where I specialized in geodesic filtering and CUDA implementations. When I’m not writing code or pitching my EdTech startup (Crossroads Initiative), you’ll find me exploring new cities, experimenting with street food, or losing myself in a good sci-fi novel. I believe great conversations spark the best adventures, and I’m always up for sharing travel hacks, startup war stories, or simply swapping playlists.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to connect with open-minded locals who can show me hidden corners of their city—whether that’s a tucked-away café, a spontaneous jam session, or a secret hiking trail. Couchsurfing is my favorite way to build genuine friendships across cultures, learn a few words in a new language, and give back by swapping skills and stories along the way.
