音乐、电影和书籍

I like different types of music : from death metal to cumbia, or reggae, blues and techno. Everything that doesn’t sound commercial or common. I’m very interested in the cinema, its history and evolution, the different genres and the way of filming of the directors. I’m more into alternative or independant movies, and I tend to dislike blockbusters (with some exceptions). I studied philosophy and litterature so it’s hard for me to pick some books, but I read a lot of classic french and science-fiction, along with sociology and politics.

Me gustan varios tipos de música : de death metal a cumbia, pasando por reggae, blues y techno. Todo lo que no suena comercial y común. Estoy muy interesado en el cine, su historia, su evolución, los diferentes géneros y el estílo de los y las directores. Aprecio más películas alternativas o independientes y no me agradan los blockbusters (anque haya excepciones). Estudie filosofía y literatura pues me está díficil escoger libros pero tiendo a leer muchos clásicos franceses, ciencia ficción pero también sociología y política.

Apart from hosting obviously, two things : first, useful tips that can help people to travel in a country or a city they don’t really know ! Sometimes it can be hard to understand how things work and having someone who knows the culture can be very useful ! Second, learning interesting things about the world with my guests, discovering anecdotes, hearing stories that make me understand the world a bit better. And last but not least (okay that’s three things) : food ! I love to cook and I love discovering new tastes (also, I’m a vegetarian). If you really read my description, please start your message telling me where and when was your last camping trip ! Otherwise I won't answer :)

Aparte del alojamiento obviamente, dos cosas : primero, consejos para ayudar la gente que viaja en un país o una ciudad que no conoce ! A veces a uno o una se le hace díficil entender como las cosas funcionan. Tener alguién sabiendo de la cultura local puede ser muy útil. Segundo, aprender cosas interesantes sobre el mundo con los o las invitadas, descubrir anecdotas, escuchar de historias que me permiten entender un poco más el mundo. Por último (bueno son 3 cosas) : comida ! Me encanta cocinar y amo descubrir nuevos sabores (soy vegetariano).
