One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was twenty-five years old when I had my first experience as a volunteer in a refugee camp, and I was about to leave and I was never fragile, but hall was the stories of war and their resorts that I was hearing from the refugees and I answered the camp I caused me a crack ! For the first time in my life, I understand that the real defeat in the war does not count on those who bury the largest number of bodies, but rather on all humanity, when a person turns into mere numbers in the statistics of the dead and then I pulled my little notebook and started writing a text that is inspired on his help, it seems that a refugee was about birth, a difficult and complex birth, according to him, and that unfortunately there is a shortage of the medical framework that day and did not wait for my answer until I found myself running behind him hesitant, because I have never helped a wound for sharp bleeding and the newborn did not cry ! The doctor knew that I did not understand what was happening, so he added that both of them were dying ! He explained to me what to do while trying to save the mother and that if the infant did not cry after that, it means that he died, he put me before the de facto situation, so he could not take care of the two together and after seconds, I only did not meet my companion who addresses me while he was carrying the infant from my hands in the midst of his crying and says that both of them lived and it is a miracle ..
