Overview
About Me
Ig - ayush1337
I’m a doctor based in India, grounded in science and driven by curiosity. A non-believer at heart, I seek meaning through experience, not tradition. I’m open to exploring new ideas, cultures, and cuisines, and I occasionally smoke marijuana, believing in its healing potential when used mindfully.
I’m on a journey to discover what truly brings joy and depth to life. I want to travel the world—not as a tourist, but to live like locals, share meals, build real connections, and understand cultures from within. I believe the journey is the adventure—not the finish line. It’s in the stories, the people, and the quiet moments along the way that I find what really matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m not into touristy stuff—I travel to meet real people, share stories, eat local food, and experience life the way locals live it. Couchsurfing lets me connect, learn, and grow. I believe every shared meal or conversation can teach you something new.

Music:
My music taste is eclectic, reflecting my curiosity—anything from soulful blues and smooth jazz to experimental electronic and world music.

I’m drawn to books that expand my understanding—philosophy, psychology, travel memoirs, and stories rooted in different cultures. I like authors who push boundaries and invite reflection
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stepped beyond the expectations of my profession and culture—not just becoming a doctor, but choosing to explore life on my own terms. I’ve learned to care for others while also seeking what heals me, whether it’s through travel, honest connection, or quiet reflection. Choosing to live authentically, even when it goes against the grain, has been my boldest—and most rewarding—act.
