My name is Bünyamin. I love being at sea, slow living, and real conversations that happen along the way. I work as a captain, and a big part of my life is spent on boats, following the rhythm of the wind and the waves.

On November 23rd, I departed from Grand Canaria on a catamaran and crossed approximately 2,900 nautical miles, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean to reach the island of St. Martin. This journey taught me patience, respect for nature, and once again reminded me how valuable it is to spend time alone with oneself.

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about accommodation; it’s about mutual trust, sharing, and meaningful moments. A short coffee chat, a quiet walk at sunset, or simple but genuine moments shared on a boat — these are more than enough for me.

I’m calm, respectful of personal boundaries, and I value honesty and good intentions. I don’t expect much from life — sincerity, kindness, and a little bit of sea breeze are enough.
