About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I want to meet people, not just visit places.
I’m traveling on a small budget, but more than that, I think the most meaningful part of traveling is connecting with others — learning how people live, listening to their stories, and maybe sharing a meal or a quiet evening together.
I’m not the loud or outgoing type, but I’m sincere, curious, and always happy to listen. I believe even short moments between strangers can leave deep impressions. I hope I can bring warmth, respect, and something small to share, like a home-cooked meal or a good conversation.
Interests
I love music — especially indie rock, folk, country, and soft pop. I also love reading, though I don’t always stick to one genre. I enjoy cooking (simple Chinese dishes), watching movies, and having quiet, meaningful conversations. I prefer slow travel, and I love observing little things — the way people live, the rhythm of a city, or a moment of music on the street.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hi! I’m really into rock, folk, and country music — I’ve been a fan of Coldplay for years. I also enjoy some pop music (Justin Bieber was actually my first idol!). I love reading. One of my all-time favorite movies is Inside Out (and Inside Out 2 just made me love it even more!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled through Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on a shoestring budget for two weeks.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share Mandarin Chinese, stories from where I grew up, and some indie or folk music from China. If you’re curious about Chinese culture, I’m always happy to chat.
Learn: I love learning how people live — your local customs, the music you love, how you cook your comfort food, or just how you see the world.
Share: I enjoy cooking and would love to make you a simple Chinese meal if there’s a kitchen around! I also love sharing playlists, travel stories, random deep talks, and quiet moments over tea or music. I’m not big on partying, but I love real connection.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a home-cooked Chinese meal if you have a kitchen — something simple but warm.
I can also teach you a bit of Mandarin, tell you about Chinese culture, or help you cook if you enjoy being in the kitchen too.
I don’t take up much space, and I’ll always respect your home and your rhythm. I may be a quiet guest, but I hope to bring a calm, kind presence.
