Overview
About Me
Hello ! My name is Grégoire, I am a young dynamic engineering student very fond of exploration, discovering new cultures, and saving the environment. I have just been on an only train and bus trip from France across Europe and Asia with 3 friends, to our final destination : Vietnam, where we worked as engineers and english teachers in an NGO called Passerelles Numériques (PN Vietnam).
This trip is where I discovered couch surfing (in Hungary, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China and Lao) along with my 3 other friends (check Noé Laroche on coushsurfing for more information).
Now that I am on my own and back to Europe, I deeply wanted to keep my couchsurfing experience going in my other trips as I discovered amazing people on the way, and created very strong bonds with international people.
Couchsurfing has helped me deepen my understanding of the world and of its differences, and build strong bonds with people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and hobbies. I love learning through shared experiences, whether it’s a conversation, a meal, or a local activity. I’m very excited to exchange thoughts and descriptions about our cultures, discover local traditions, and share my own perspective on the world ! Looking forward to meeting you :))
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on the app because I would really love to meet new international people, and when I will start working, I am looking forward hosting people aswell :).
Interests
I am a very dynamic person with a lot of energy so I am never tired to wander around, talk to new people about their lives and about the cultural differences we might have. Do not worry, I can also be relaxed and chill out for sure. I play the cello and I can sing, so I love to try new musical instruments or just sing and dance together. I also like to be in nature, to walk bare foot, to hike, camp, and discover wild places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love techno music, but a song I always go back to would be Forever young from Alphaville .
I can recommend "tous des oiseaux" from Wajdi Mouawad, a Canadian theater writer.
I enjoyed "12 angry men" a lot and I have watched many different movies which I would happily talk about.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a year working for an NGO called Nepal Asa to collect fund in France, which was an insane experience. I shared this experience with the friends I travelled with to Vietnam.
I went from Paris to Hanoï only by bus and trains.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied physics a lot so I can teach you many facts about physics in general, for example : watch a video about supercooling water, I could explain you such phenomenons :).
I love to learn about arts in general, social sciences and new languages.
I can share a lot about my hitchhiking experiences in France, Europe and South-East Asia !
