I'm Laurène, new to Couchsurfing and excited to explore new ways of traveling — not just to see places and go back home with some photos, but to meet people, hear their stories, get inspired, and share meaningful moments.
For me, a trip without connection feels incomplete.
I'm a very curious person — calm on the outside, full of ideas on the inside! I love deep conversations, remaking the world over a coffee (or a glass of wine), and of course, having a good laugh.
I enjoy walking, discovering new places, and I love dancing to catchy rhythms. I'm also always up for trying new flavors and dishes! 😋

In everyday life, I balance between two jobs that both matter a lot to me.
On one hand, I work as an environmental educator with young people living in social housing. I run a shared garden and raise awareness about ecology and sustainable living.
On the other hand, I manage projects for an NGO that fights educational inequality in underprivileged neighborhoods.
We run programs around reading and civic workshops on topics like gender equality, bullying prevention, living together, and other social issues.
These two paths reflect who I am: someone who loves to engage with others, who believes in change through education, and who enjoys planting seeds — both in gardens and in minds 🌿

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer, I'm planning a train trip through Andalusia, and I’d love to stay with locals to experience the spirit of sharing and connection that Couchsurfing is all about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love challenges and pushing myself in everyday life.
I once took part in a public speaking contest, and I once moved across the country on a spontaneous decision, without even having a place to live. I trusted life… and it worked out! I’m still living in that city today.
I enjoy solo travels and new experiences, trying out new hobbies, or having talks with people who see the world very differently than I do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a simple and easygoing person, happy to share friendly moments with others.
Whether it's walking through the city or going on a nature hike, relaxing in a cozy café with good conversation, attending a concert or a local cultural event — I'm always up for it!
We could also cook something together or have a picnic at the beach !
