About Me
Hi there!
I'm ASLI, originally from Turkey. I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and hearing people’s life stories. When I visit new places, I always prefer to experience them through the eyes of locals — that’s why I joined Couchsurfing.
I'm calm, respectful, and open-minded. I always try to follow house rules, keep shared spaces clean, and act like a thoughtful flatmate rather than just a guest. I’ve been told I’m a good listener and an easygoing person to be around.
I'm passionate about art, design, and architecture. I enjoy books, old movies, museums, and exploring street markets. I also like to cook from time to time — simple but tasty meals — and if there’s a chance, I’d love to share a traditional Turkish dish with you!
I appreciate meaningful conversations and quiet moments alike. If our paths cross, I’d be happy to spend time together, have a good chat, take a walk, or just relax over a cup of coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and experiencing different ways of living. When I travel, I want to connect with locals and explore places in a more authentic way — not just as a tourist. Couchsurfing allows you to share not only a space, but a story. And one day, I’d also love to host others and give back to the community.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Some basic Turkish recipes (like menemen or lentil soup), simple Turkish phrases, and creative brainstorming or basic drawing ideas — I love sharing what I know!
I’d love to learn about your culture, everyday expressions, local dishes, and the way people live in your country. I’m especially curious about traditions and personal stories.
A good conversation, cooking together, walking around, exploring markets or museums — I enjoy spending quality time in a relaxed and respectful environment.
