Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Faizan, a 25-year-old student from India. I'm passionate about travel, vlogging, story writing and learning about different cultures.
This will be my first duo trip abroad — to Japan 🇯🇵 — and I’m really looking forward to experiencing the local lifestyle, meeting kind people, and creating beautiful memories.
I’m a calm, respectful, non-smoking guest. I’m clean, organized, and open to helping around, sharing stories, or even cooking something Indian if you’d like!
I believe in kindness and cultural exchange more than luxury, and I’m here to make real connections, not just take photos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to connect with locals and explore the world in a more meaningful way. I believe cultural exchange teaches more than any book or classroom ever can.
As a student traveling on a budget, I’m not just looking for free stay — I’m looking for learning, laughter, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
Interests
I’m interested in exploring cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and sharing life stories. I love photography, filmmaking, anime, nature, and learning about spiritual ideas and philosophies from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once traveled solo to a small mountain village in India where I stayed with local people and lived their way of life for a few days — without internet, shops, or distractions. It changed how I view happiness.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a few things about Indian culture, language (Hindi/Urdu), and share interesting facts about India.
I want to learn more about Japanese traditions, daily life, and people's personal stories.
I’d love to share good conversations, smiles, and food!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, cleanliness, good energy, and conversation.
I’m always willing to help around the house, cook an Indian meal if possible, or simply be a positive and polite guest.
If you'd like, I can also share some Hindi or Urdu phrases, or talk about Indian traditions and stories.
