Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Veronika!
I’m an adventurous soul who believes that life is better when you’re exploring – whether it’s hiking up a mountain, diving into a freezing lake (yes, I’m that person), or discovering hidden spots in a new city.
I’m a big animal lover, so don’t be surprised if I stop to say hello to every dog on the street. When I’m not outside exploring nature, you’ll probably find me cooking something delicious (and vegan!) or buried in a self-improvement book, plotting my next adventure.
Travel for me isn’t just about places, it’s about people and stories. That’s why I want to try Couchsurfing – it’s the best way to meet open-minded people, share a meal, laugh about cultural differences, and maybe even wake up early together for a sunrise hike.
Friends describe me as caring, friendly, and talkative – and I promise I can help with language practice, household tasks, or just great conversation over coffee (or vegan meal).
Philosophy: To achieve something, you first have to believe in yourself and start.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel budget friendly, get to know new people, cultures, places.
Interests
I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by nature – whether I’m hiking up a trail, taking a freezing swim in a lake, or just walking with a dog by my side. Animals have a special place in my heart (yes, I’m the type who gets excited about bunny and guinea pig exhibitions!). When I’m not outside exploring, I love working out, getting lost in self-improvement books, or daydreaming about my next trip. I’m also a bit of a nature nerd – passionate about ecology, sustainability, and how we can make the world a kinder place for all living beings.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can show you how to make delicious vegan dishes and desserts, share tips on nutrition, eco-friendly living, and even some travel hacks. I also love language exchange – teaching or learning new phrases is always fun!
Learn: I’m curious about everything – from learning local traditions and languages to discovering hidden, “Instagram-worthy” spots or picking up random fun skills (teach me something unusual and I’m all in!).
Share: I’m happy to help around the house, cook you a vegan meal, share stories from my adventures, go on a hike together, or simply enjoy long conversations over coffee (or tea!).
