Overview
About Me
I’m a traveler and writer, new to Couchsurfing and excited to try this way of meeting people. In daily life, I balance two rhythms: the structured pace of public service and the quieter, more personal time I spend writing. I enjoy thoughtful conversations, exploring less-traveled places, and moments of calm that say a lot without words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To keep believing in free encounters, in welcoming others without transactions, in hospitality as a quiet form of resistance.
Interests
Writing, languages, the emotional geography of places, small empty museums, postcards, listening to others.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Arvo Pärt, Nick Drake, Debussy, Shostakovich, Grieg.
Films: “An Autumn Afternoon” by Ozu, “Money” by Bresson, “Wings of Desire” by Wenders.
Books: the travel journals of Nicolas Bouvier, the prose of Pascal Quignard, the strangeness of Borges.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled through China’s Yunnan province in the fall, with a backpack, looking for a remote village whose name I only had written in pinyin in a notebook. It was less of an adventure than a personal journey, shaped by kind gestures, hot rice, and mountain-filled skies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I mostly learn through stories, actions, and different ways of being in the world. I enjoy sharing simple meals, maps, and comfortable silences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
