About Me

First of all, I want to make something clear: our home is not a “resting place” where you spend the whole day. Of course, you can freely use the kitchen, the fridge, the bathroom, and the washing machine; you can cook whatever you like and eat or drink as much as you want. I have no problem with that. But spending the entire day at home, watching series, or occupying a room is not something that works for us. That’s why I felt the need to explain this clearly.
I kindly ask you to be independent during your stay. You can explore the city on your own and go out whenever you like. I don’t ask for any payment; all I expect is mutual respect and a comfortable routine for everyone.
We will definitely dedicate one day to you. We’ll go out together, explore the city, eat local food, and enjoy the day. But it’s not possible for us to do this every day—because of our children and our daily schedule.
Since my home is small, I cannot offer you my children’s room or my own room; I hope you understand this. But my kitchen is clean, and there is a comfortable couch there prepared for you, with fresh linens and a tidy sleeping space. I will host you with sincerity and do my best to make you feel welcome.
Finally, just so you know from the beginning: I do not accept guests for more than 3 nights.
I believe that with mutual respect and some independence, we can create lovely memories during your stay. Welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that traveling is not only about seeing new places, but also about meeting new people and experiencing life from their perspective. Hotels can give you comfort, but only Couchsurfing can give you friendship and genuine cultural exchange.

As a family, we love to meet locals, share stories, cook together, and learn about daily life in different parts of the world. We enjoy discovering cities not only through guidebooks but through the eyes of the people who actually live there.

We also like to share our own culture wherever we go. We usually bring small gifts from Turkey, so we can create a mutual exchange of traditions, tastes, and ideas.

For us, Couchsurfing is not just a place to stay; it’s a way to build meaningful connections, to make the world feel smaller, and to teach our children that kindness and hospitality are values that exist everywhere.
