I’m Zhomart, 23, from Kazakhstan. I’ll be honest: at first I asked ChatGPT to help me write this profile… but then I realized, who knows me better than me? (Okay, maybe my dog Dublin 🐕, but he doesn’t type yet).

No smoking, no drinking, no coffee — I run purely on natural energy and random jokes. I’m clean, respectful, and the type of guest who makes his bed, washes his dishes, and sometimes even yours (depends on how good the food was).

I’m an artist 🎨 — I paint murals and make boring walls less boring. I love sports: football, volleyball, swimming, a bit of acrobatics, and I take table tennis too seriously 🏓… until I lose, then I just blame the ball (or gravity).

Travel for me is about people, kindness, and funny little moments. If you host me, I promise to bring good vibes, funny stories, and absolutely no coffee addiction. Dublin (my Irish Setter) wanted to join too, but he’s way too hyper to pass the Couchsurfing verification.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels are boring, and adventures rarely start with “room service.” For me, travel is about people — the stories, the laughs, the unexpected friendships. Couchsurfing is the best way to meet locals, see life from the inside, and maybe even find someone brave enough to challenge me in table tennis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute (and somehow still wanted to do it again)
Became a big brother — which basically means I’m raising my own partner for future adventures… and my main rival in table tennis and everything else .
Almost got married — turns out “almost” was the amazing part.
And most importantly, I believed in God — the biggest leap of faith in my life 🙏.
