About Me
Please excuse me, I’m a beginner at English🥲
❤︎Films…Studio Ghibli (Especially Nausicaä, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky)
❤︎Musicals…The Gratest Showman, Les Misérables, JCS
❤︎Anime…Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan,Gintama
❤︎Cycling…Just chill rides on a city bike🚲
❤︎Novels…Some japanese modern literatures
I love Japanese culture, especially the beauty of language. (Even for native speakers, Japanese can be really tricky!)
I enjoy thinking about things like:
“Why is this word expressed this way?”
“What does this place name mean?”
“Why does this kanji have such a shape?”
If you’re interested in these kinds of topics,
I’d love to try explaining them in English… even if it’s a bit of a challenge for me! 😂
Thank you for reading all the way through!
If you’d like to send me an email to request a stay,
please tell me what your name means in your language and culture.
I’d love to learn about it.
Also, I studied the Japanese tea ceremony in high school,
so I can prepare matcha for you.
If you’re not a fan of bitterness, don’t worry—I can mix it with milk to make it gentler! 😆🥛
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve only traveled abroad a few times so far, but the experiences and encounters I had were truly unforgettable.
Of course, the places I visited and the sights I saw were amazing—but more than anything, what moved me most was connecting with local people and getting a glimpse into their everyday lives.
I can’t travel internationally very often, but I realized that I can still have those meaningful experiences by welcoming travelers here in Japan.
That’s why I decided to start CS.
Please tell me all about your country—its culture, customs, and anything you’d like to share!
In return, I’d love to introduce you to Japan’s unique traditions, language, and beautiful places to visit.
