About Me
Currently exploring Vietnam with a friend!
Looking to make some incredible memories and see as much as (reasonably) possible, while taking our time to really connect with people and places along the way
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m totally lost in big cities, I never know where to start! As much as I love exploring alone, I find myself overwhelmed and exhausted trying to find the little diamonds in the rough urban mazes.
Travelling is all about the people you meet in the places you go :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I can begin to love any music as long as the person showing it to me is passionate about it! My taste right now is sunk into artists like Arthur Russel, Robert Lester Folsom, Leonard Cohen, Tia Blake, Karen Dalton, Kurt Vile. Very melancholic, very passionate :)
—I also spent a few months living in Belgium, and really fell in love with hard techno. Oops
I really enjoy watching movies at independent cinemas if the possibility presents itself. I don’t think there are many truly bad movies (unless, I mean, if they are BAD bad)
My taste in books is nuanced and really hard to pin down, but books are some of my favourite things to talk about so don’t even get me started :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent one summer road-tripping and camping along the Alaskan highway.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know some Spanish but I’m too embarrassed to try unless I have a drink in me. I can tell you all about the beauty of rural Canada (the TRUE North), and I can go on and on about whatever knowledge I retained from my Linguistics degree.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, I love to have a good time, I’m really happy to meet new people, share ideas and lifestyles and book recommendations!! Let me buy you a drink! :)
