I’m originally from Croatia and currently living in Ljubljana, where I’m doing my PhD. I’m a creative type who loves getting hands-on and figuring things out as I go, whether it’s at work or a DIY project at home. I grew up in a winemaking family, studied oenology, and recently started a small winery, which I’m really passionate about. I also enjoy exploring cultures and meeting new people, especially when it comes with good food and a glass of wine.

I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet people, share stories and experience a city like a local.

Interests

I’ve always been into sustainability and making things myself, so I like spending time on little projects like sewing, homebrewing or indoor gardening. I also enjoy cooking and being outdoors, especially going hiking with my friends. I recently started bouldering and I’m excited to check out some gyms in Slovenia.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste is pretty open, but old rock will always have a special place in my heart. I like books and movies that leave me with something, a new idea, a feeling, or just a good laugh. I’m forever in love with animated classics like Shrek, The Lion King, Brother Bear, Madagascar and old Tom and Jerry episodes.
