About Me

I’m a historian (which is basically a professional way of being curious!) I love learning about culture, art, and everyday life. I’m passionate about video games and nature. I truly value mutual support, and that’s one of the reasons I’m here. I believe we can build meaningful connections and networks by getting to know each other in a more genuine and human way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love discovering new places from a more human and genuine perspective — through everyday life. It’s those small details that help us truly understand and learn about the world and its people. As a traveler, I try to connect with local traditions and customs, and I enjoy talking with people so that we can learn from each other. I’ve had wonderful experiences exploring the world, and I hope to have many more here as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’ve loved The Beatles since I was eight years old — I’m basically a walking encyclopedia about them. I think that’s also why, thanks to their versatility, I’ve learned to appreciate so many kinds of music. I listen to jazz, bossa nova, cumbia, and darkwave — honestly, a bit of everything.

My favorite movies are Melancholia, In the Mood for Love, and Mulan, but I truly enjoy the whole experience of going to the cinema to watch pretty much anything.

I read a lot — I’m a big fan of Latin American poetry and magical realism novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled through the southern region of Mexico — almost all of Oaxaca — by bike. I spent months on cycling trips, discovering new places along the way. I love cycling as a life experience; those journeys have taught me a lot about self-reliance and resilience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer Mexican sweets, a good conversation, or a peaceful shared silence. I’ll truly appreciate your company.
