About Me
Hi everyone! I’m Josie, a Taiwanese traveler and designer currently exploring the U.S. after spending the summer working in Alaska 🇺🇸✨. I’ll be heading to Seattle in mid-October for a short stay before continuing my travels through other states.
I love film, design, photography, nature, and meaningful connections — I’ve been solo traveling for a while and love meeting new friends on the road. I enjoy cozy cafés, creative chats, and spontaneous adventures 🌿☀️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting kind and open-minded people while traveling. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about accommodation — it’s about connection, culture, and shared stories. Every encounter brings something meaningful, whether it’s a cup of coffee, a walk through the city, or deep late-night conversations.
I’m currently exploring the U.S. after spending the summer working in Alaska, and I’ll be heading to Seattle next before continuing my travels through other states and Latin America.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 Favorite song: “Labour” by Paris Paloma — it’s powerful and poetic.
🎥 Favorite movie: Princess Mononoke — I love how it connects nature, spirit, and humanity.
📚 Favorite book: The Little Prince — timeless, gentle, and full of meaning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent two summer working and living in Alaska, surrounded by glaciers and the ocean — it was life-changing! I also traveled solo across several countries, meeting friends from all over the world. 🌍💛
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing stories, languages, and creativity 🌿
I can teach some Mandarin Chinese or help you improve your English conversation. I also love exchanging ideas about film, design, photography, and culture — or simply talking about life and travel over good coffee ☕️
I’m always curious to learn about local traditions, music, and food, and to understand how people see the world from different places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring a warm smile, positive energy, and genuine curiosity ✨
I’m tidy, respectful, and love keeping spaces cozy and clean. I can share stories from my travels, help with photography or creative projects, and of course, cook simple Asian dishes or make you Taiwanese-style coffee or tea ☕🥢
I truly believe that every shared moment — even a small one — can create lifelong memories 💛
