I grew up in rural Maine down a long dirt road. With crisp, Milky Way laden winter skies and the warmth of sunshine in the summer. I've lived in a small city for the past dozen years. I've mostly worked with people - families, folks who are unhoused, youth, babies. I also sometimes do other work - I worked for an arborist for the last year. In this moment, through traveling, I am looking to grow and broaden perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, traveling is about connecting with others - building friendships, exploring communities, learning about the world and the cultures therein from the folks that comprise it.

I love to learn and to explore thinking about people and the world with others, collaboratively. I love words and language. I enjoy tangible skills - fixing things, pruning plants and trees, creating beauty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language: English, Spanish. I would love to work on my French. A walk, hike, tea, or coffee. Collaboration for an artistic project or a meal. Tips to care for your houseplants - I'm always happy to help you prune them, too! Time to slow down toward presence.
