About Me
https://www.instagram.com/ugurkomurcu_/
Hey there! I’m Uğur — a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in business administration. I’m currently living in Malta to improve my English and, whenever I can, I travel around Europe to discover new cultures and meet new people.
I’d describe myself as calm, positive, and friendly — someone who enjoys meaningful connections and simple joys in life. I believe that good energy attracts good people, and I always try to spread a bit of positivity wherever I go.
I’m passionate about cooking, especially experimenting with dishes from different cultures. I love reading, mainly about philosophy and psychology, because I’m fascinated by how people think and behave. I also enjoy playing chess, which keeps my mind sharp and reminds me to be patient — both in the game and in life.
Traveling is something that truly inspires me. I love wandering through local streets, tasting traditional food, and understanding how people live and think in different corners of the world. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay — it’s about genuine human connection, shared experiences, and stories that make every trip unforgettable.
I really enjoy deep conversations about life, culture, or random thoughts that make us laugh. I appreciate kind people, honest smiles, and moments that make you feel at home — even when you’re miles away from yours.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I believe that traveling is not just about visiting new places — it’s about connecting with people and sharing stories. Staying with locals or meeting travelers opens a completely different side of every city.
I enjoy learning about different cultures, trying local food, and exchanging experiences that you can’t find in guidebooks. Couchsurfing makes traveling more meaningful, because it allows me to see the world through someone else’s eyes.
For me, it’s not only about finding a place to stay — it’s about building friendships, learning from each other, and creating memories that make every trip unforgettable.
