Hello my name is charity and I live in mida creek kilifi Kenya. I work with mida Jitahidi Women Group. Focusing on environment conservation,butterfly farming mangrove planting and community projects. I love sharing swahili cultural traditional cooking and coastal life with visitors. I became a host because i enjoy meeting people from different countries, learning from them and showing the beauty of our local community. I am friendly open minded and enjoy working together with volunteers to make our environment and community better.

I'm on couch surfing to meet people from different countries exchange cultures and share the swahili coastal lifestyle. I enjoy hosting travelers and volunteers showing them our community projects traditions and beautiful nature in mida creek.

I enjoy traditional swahili music, gospel and African rhythm. I like family and cultural movies documentary about nature and community. I enjoy stories about cultural environment and personal growth aswell as learning from local folklore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing i have done is leading a community project to plant mangroves and conserve butterflies in mida creek kilifi. This project has helped protect our environment educate local people and provide opportunities for volunteers to learn and participate.

Teach:I can teach traditional swahili cooking local crafts and community gardening techniques. Learn:I want to learn from volunteers about different cultures languages and new ways to protect the environment. Share:I enjoy sharing our local lifestyle cultural stories and environmental projects with visitors, helping them experience life in mida creek.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share swahili cultures, traditional cooking and stories about life in kenyas coastal communities. I love teaching hosts how to cook local dishes and showing them photos or crafts from our women's environment projects. I also enjoy sharing friendship kindness and positive energy every where I go.
