Hi! I'm Zakaria, an Italian and Moroccan pilot.
I am 24 years old, I was born and raised in south of Italy...exactly in Campofilone a very small village of 2000 people close to the sea and mountains (we call them the Appennini). My father is Moroccan and my mother is Italian, they met 30 years ago at work and have been married and love each other since then. I love the multicultural mix and I think that's one of the reason I'm very open minded and always ready for adventure and exploring.

Since I was a kid I always loved to fly on airplanes, we were always going to Morocco during summer to visit family and sice then I wanted to become a pilot and eventually one day I would become one.

I love sports, I am now training for Milan half Marathon in May which will be my first ever marathon and the goal would be to run a marathon every year.

I fly for a european airline and I am based in Bergamo, 1 hour from MIlan! During my days off I commute to visit family and to travel around Europe and meet with fellow pilot friends.

In November I was in Thailad and Vietnam backpacking with my best friend, which has become a brother.

I love semplicity and positive energy and I believe in life we can achieve evertyhing we wish for. I consider my self a very happy person.

I did my pilot training in Florida when I was 16 years old the first time during the summer breaks of high school I was going from Europe to get my pilot certifications.
After high school I went again to Florida to get my final pilot certification and after that I found a pilot job in Europe flying for a European airline.

I have grown up a lot during these years, I was mostly travelling and living abroad alone and that made me the person I am today.

Another trip I really enjoyed was in Morocco during summer of 2022 before going to Florida for the last time, I took 4 of my Italian friends to Morocco and we did a wonderful road trip around my second country…from the cities to the desert and the sea.

That’s something about me and I hope we can meet one day!!

I'm in couchsurfing to meet great people and create lifetime memories. I have friends from all around the world who have become lifetime friends.

Next I will be in California for 10 days solo backpakcing and I would love to meet you!

I’m happy to cook a simple Italian or Moroccan meal, share stories from my travels and life as a pilot. I’m easygoing and respectful of personal space, but also happy to spend time together and would love to do local activities together. I am also very tidy and happy to help around
