I’m Kaushik. Currently hitchhiking from Delhi to Gangtok, sikkim. I speak Hindi and english, I’m the kind of person who’s curious about almost everything. I studied Journalism, and now I’m on a journey to learn about the world and its cultures , I love good conversations, new experiences, and discovering how people live in different places.

I always wanted to travel because I have felt an emptiness inside me. I have spent some early days in hostels away from my parents since the age of 10, they were like boarding school, I did not go out, I did not meet anyone, I used to go home once or twice a year and on the way I felt better in the train, in the bus, I was more happy even after reaching home, I still live outside, I want to explore the world now, I want to meet people of every culture, I want to live with them.

The most amazing journey I’ve ever taken wasn’t on the road — it was inside myself. I used to struggle with anxiety and panic attacks, but fitness and discipline helped me fight back. I’m not perfect, but I’m stronger than I used to be — and now I want to take that same courage onto the road and explore the world.
