Hola, soy Adrià, un viajero entusiasta de Barcelona. Me dedico a la edición y a la literatura, y también a la música: toco el piano y compongo. Me apasiona el arte en casi todas sus formas, especialmente el cine.
Me encanta viajar siguiendo el rastro de los libros, las películas y los lugares con historia, y me hace mucha ilusión conocer el mundo y compartirlo con la comunidad de Couchsurfing.

Todavía creo en la posibilidad de una comunidad como esta: abierta, hospitalaria y curiosa.
Couchsurfing, para mí, es una forma de compartir intereses, alojamiento y vivencias inolvidables con personas que, de otro modo, nunca conocería. Me gusta la idea de que los viajes no sean solo turismo, sino también encuentro.

I still believe in the possibility of a community like this: open, welcoming and curious.
For me, Couchsurfing is a way to share interests, accommodation and unforgettable experiences with people I would probably never meet otherwise. I like the idea that traveling is not just tourism, but also about genuine encounters.

Me gusta mucho la literatura latinoamericana y, en general, la narrativa contemporánea. Desde Bolaño hasta Lemebel, pasando por Clarice Lispector, Olga Tokarczuk o Alice Munro, entre tantos. En realidad disfruto con cualquier buen libro. Últimamente estoy enganchado a Coetzee y a Leila Guerriero.
Amo el cine de autor, sobre todo el italiano: mis directores favoritos están entre Fellini y Sorrentino. Me hubiera encantado conocer a Agnès Varda.
En música, disfruto con cantautores como Drexler o Silvio Rodríguez, pero me lo paso en grande con casi cualquier género si la compañía es buena.

I really love Latin American literature and, more broadly, contemporary fiction. From Bolaño to Lemebel, passing through Clarice Lispector, Olga Tokarczuk or Alice Munro, among many others. In the end, I just enjoy a good book. Lately I’ve been obsessed with Coetzee and Leila Guerriero.
I’m a big fan of arthouse cinema, especially Italian: my favorite directors are somewhere between Fellini and Sorrentino. I would have loved to meet Agnès Varda.
As for music, I enjoy singer-songwriters like Jorge Drexler or Silvio Rodríguez, but I can have fun with almost any genre if the company is good.

Viví siete meses en Ciudad de México por culpa (o gracias) a un libro que me enamoró. Fui a perseguir a sus personajes por la ciudad, escribí una novela intentando imitar su estilo mientras estudiaba literatura en la universidad y viajé un montón con una mochila y ese libro como brújula.

I lived in Mexico City for seven months because of (or thanks to) a book I fell in love with. I went there to “chase” its characters through the city, wrote a novel trying to imitate its style while studying literature at university, and traveled a lot with just a backpack and that book as my compass.

Me encantaría aprender de cualquier anfitrión: costumbres, idioma, rincones secretos de la ciudad, recetas, formas de ver el mundo.
A cambio, puedo compartir lo que sé de escritura y edición, recomendar libros y películas, tocar el piano si hay uno cerca o simplemente intercambiar historias de viaje en español o catalán (y también en inglés, con acento mediterráneo).

I’d love to learn from any host: local habits, language, hidden spots in the city, recipes, different ways of seeing the world.
In return, I can share what I know about writing and editing, recommend books and movies, play the piano if there’s one around, or simply exchange travel stories in Spanish or Catalan (and in English too, with a Mediterranean accent).

Estoy abierto a hablar de todo. Soy bastante transparente y fácil de tratar, y suelo hacer las cosas sencillas y agradables.
Puedo ofrecer buena conversación, recomendaciones de libros, música y cine, ayuda con el español o el catalán, y muchas ganas de escuchar historias ajenas. Y, por supuesto, respeto por el espacio, los horarios y las normas de la casa.

I’m open to talking about anything. I’m quite transparent and easy-going, and I usually make things simple and pleasant.
I can offer good conversation, book, music and film recommendations, help with Spanish or Catalan, and a genuine interest in listening to other people’s stories. And of course, respect for your space, your time and your house rules.
