Hi, I’m Basil, 25, from Jordan. I work in international sanctions and compliance, which basically means my job is serious… but I try not to be.

Outside of work I’m usually at the gym, watching football (Arsenal fan, so I’ve learned patience), traveling, or exploring nature. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and hearing their stories.

I’m also passionate about cooking. If you host me, there’s a good chance I’ll end up cooking some Jordanian food — or at least a very solid homemade burger.
