My name is Lucie, I'm 21 years old, a French student, and a huge fan of train travel, the mountains, and meeting new people. I travel alone, but never truly "alone": I love discovering a country through the people who live there, exchanging ideas, listening to stories, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying a quiet moment after a day of exploring. I'm calm, respectful, organized, and independent. I enjoy both deep conversations and comfortable silences. I adapt easily to everyone's pace and habits. I have reduced mobility and use a walking aid, but I'm independent, used to traveling, and very careful never to be a burden on my hosts. I don't need any special assistance, just an accessible place or one without too many stairs.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I firmly believe that travel isn't just about seeing places, but above all, about meeting people. I love discovering a country through the daily lives of its inhabitants, their advice, their stories, and their way of life. Couchsurfing facilitates these simple and authentic exchanges, far removed from traditional tourism. Traveling this way also makes a lot of sense to me: as a student, but especially as a person with reduced mobility, it's a human and reassuring way to travel, to build connections and feel welcomed, all while maintaining my independence.
