About Me
Hello! I’m Becky.
A curious soul currently exploring the diverse beauty of West Africa. I find so much joy in the simple, elegant moments of life: a slow morning coffee, the rhythm of a new city, and the warmth of a shared meal.
I believe the most meaningful connections happen over a shared meal. There’s something so elegant about sharing a home-cooked dish and exchanging stories from different corners of the world.
I’m on a journey to explore as many corners of this world as possible.
As a guest, I’m respectful, tidy, and bring a strong but soft energy to every home I visit. I’m looking to experience the world through local eyes, whether that’s a deep conversation over a glass of wine or discovering a secluded coastal trail. I can’t wait to meet kind souls from around the globe and create memories that stay with us long after the journey ends.
Let’s connect!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of stories that take me to other worlds, so you'll often find me watching Marvel or Sci-Fi movies. But I also love a good comedy, nothing beats a laugh to end the day.
My music taste is pretty much a 'mood ring'; it changes depending on how I'm feeling. Right now, I'm immersed in Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I'm always happy to talk books or movies if you have any local favorites to recommend.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dedicated my festive holidays to organizing food distribution for the less privileged in my community. It was incredible to see the joy on the children's faces, and it taught me the importance of being a 'helper' wherever I go in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make authentic Nigerian Jollof rice and Egusi soup. I'm also eager to learn how things are done in other cultures. I'm happy to share my kitchen stories and a lot of laughter.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my energy, my respect for your home, and of course, some delicious Nigerian meals. I'm a great listener and I'm eager to learn about your way of life. In exchange, I can share my perspective on Nigerian culture, music, and food.
