Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Dicle, a literature student who loves discovering cultures through people. I’m open-minded, calm and respectful. I enjoy meaningful conversations, spontaneous walks, and getting lost in new cities, and currently living in Spain for Erasmus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer experiencing places through locals rather than as a tourist. For me, travel is about connection, trust and shared memories.
Interests
Literature, theatre, languages, local food, cultural exchange, sunsets, and deep conversations over tea or coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love meaningful, emotional and thought-provoking stories. Some of my favorite movies are Edward Scissorhands, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, Pride and Prejudice, Capernaum, Scent of a Woman, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and of course Harry Potter (always).
In literature, I’m especially drawn to drama and classics — Waiting for Godot, Romeo and Juliet, The Miser, The Imaginary Invalid, Of Love and Other Demons, Lord of the Flies, The Handmaid’s Tale, and more. I also love novels that explore society and human psychology.
For music, it depends on my mood — sometimes calm and nostalgic, sometimes energetic. I’m always open to discovering new sounds from different cultures.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share Turkish culture and language, cook something traditional, and of course good conversations. I’d love to learn about your culture and daily life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m clean, responsible and easygoing. I respect house rules and personal space. I can help around the house and bring positive energy.
