My name is Maëlle, I’m 20 years old and I’m currently a student in Switzerland. I’m studying with the goal of becoming a paramedic, a profession that truly inspires me because I love helping people and being useful in important moments.

This summer, I’m looking for a place where I can stay while doing my revisions. I have important exams coming up, so I would love to find a calm and welcoming environment where I can focus on studying during the day. Of course, I would also be happy to share moments together, cook a meal, have conversations, or discover the area when I’m not studying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my main goals is to improve my English. I’m motivated to practice as much as possible and I think Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to learn naturally while meeting new people. I’m also very curious and excited to discover new places, cultures, and ways of life.
I’m respectful, tidy, and easygoing. I appreciate simple moments, meaningful conversations, and learning from others’ experiences.

I listen to multiple music styles. My favorite song of all time is Tunnel of Love from Dire Straits.
My current favorite artist is Bad Bunny. I also listen to Abba a lot in summer.
I love watching movies, especially the ones from Tarantino and my favorite move of all time is Leon from Luc Besson.
I also love cheesy romantic comedies like Nothing Hill or thrillers that blow my mind.
I like reading too but I don't have much time with my studies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving over a lake, it was really fun. I also swam near the coral reef and saw magnificent fishes.
