I‘m a student from Hamburg in Germany. For the the last two weeks, my sister and I have been traveling from Boston to South Carolina. Over the next two weeks, I‘ll be continuing the trip on my own, eventually ending in Florida. I‘m keen is to get to know the country and its people better, and to learn about different perspectives on life and the world.

Since we used my sisters account to find accommodations for the first part of our trip, I haven’t received many recommendations here yet. However, I‘m looking forward to exploring the platform and hope to make friends here very quickly.

I have never been to the US before but was always interested in its culture and people. When things became more politically turbulent last year, I felt compelled to finally visit the US. I want to understand what drives and inspires people here.
