About Me

I’m a sunny, energetic, and curious person who loves traveling and meeting all kinds of people. I’m fascinated by diversity it’s what makes life interesting! Spontaneous and open-minded, I enjoy discovering new cultures, sharing stories, and introducing people to my Franco-Colombian culture through songs, stories, and little traditions. Every moment is an opportunity for connection and fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hello everyone,

We are two sisters, Valérie and Julissa, Franco-Colombian, aged 28 and 29, passionate about traveling and, above all, about human connections. For us, discovering a country is mainly about meeting locals, sharing simple moments, and immersing ourselves in the culture.

We are planning a 10-day trip to Italy from May 4th to May 12th. We will arrive in Naples and depart from Palermo, with stops in Pompeii, Atrani, Paestum, Taormina, and Catania. Our idea is to stay with hosts for a maximum of two nights in each city, in order to enjoy an authentic and friendly experience.

We are very sociable, friendly, and welcoming, with a natural ease in approaching people and building connections. We enjoy sharing conversations over a meal, cooking some Franco-Colombian specialties, and learning about local traditions. Respectful and open-minded, we adapt easily and truly appreciate simple and genuine exchanges.

It would be a real pleasure to meet you and share a small part of our journey with you!

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is quite eclectic, ranging from Latin artists like Shakira and Willie Colón to soul and R&B legends such as Alicia Keys and Bobby Womack

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most extraordinary adventures took place in Morocco.
During my trip, I was welcomed into a small village by a Moroccan family a mother and her four children who opened their home to me for an entire month, even though we had never met before. Their warmth, generosity, and kindness made me feel like part of the family from the very first day.

Living with them allowed me to truly immerse myself in their daily life, share meaningful moments, and experience their culture in the most authentic way. It was a deeply human and unforgettable experience, and without a doubt one of the most beautiful moments of my travels.

If we have the opportunity to meet, I would be delighted to share more about this special story with you

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to share my Franco-Colombian culture with my hosts whether by cooking traditional meals, exchanging travel stories, or enjoying music together. I’m always happy to help around the house and simply spend meaningful, friendly moments.
