Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Concerning the music I really cannot define what I like to hear because I hear almost everything...many etnhic music (ex: Fela Kuti,Rabih Abou Khalil, Ali Farka Touré, Toumani Diabate, Amparanoia, Heidningarna,Ernest Ranglin, Farafina, Ravi Shankar, Musafir, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Blerots de RAVEL, etc, etc). Then I also listen to Bossa Nova and many brasilian music (Vinicius de Moraes, Touquinho, Chico Buarque, Pixinguinha,Tom zé, Adoniran Barbosa, João Gilberto, etc).
More known bands I listen to...some examples are Radiohead, Alela Diane, Devendra banhart, Beastie Boys(most people don´t know the best side of these guys), Portishead, Ben Harper, Kruder and Dorfmeister, etc, etc.
Recently a good friend draw my attention to Jazz Manouche, and since then I became addicted to this genre.
As for the Portuguese musicians i can refer the classsic and older ones like the master Carlos Paredes, Madredeus, Jorge Palma....of course never forgetting the newer bands like Kumpania Algazarra, Oquestrada, Lupanar, Olivetree, etc....i could continue forever about music but there are also the books what is even more difficult so i just going to throw some names...Herman Hesse, Milan Kundera, J.P. Sartre, Doistevsky, Tchecov, Nieztsche, Fernando Pessoa, and some more that i don t remember.
As for movies I was hipnotized by "Wings of Desire" by Wim Wenders. It is not just a movie, it is a poem!!!
