Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couch Surfing is now my favourite way of travelling, and it's also been a great way of meeting new people when I was living in Vancouver.
I was hosted a few times in the US and once in Sweden and I really enjoyed it. I hosted a few times in Montreal and I was quite active in the Vancouver CS community, attending and organizing events.
The thing with me is that I'm really interested in everything... I particularly love travelling, intense conversations, wine and food, music, public radio. My work is increasingly geared toward studying cities, sustainability, design and social issues. I like to discover ways to make our communities tighter.
Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to watch too many documentaries, read too many non-fiction books and can't get enough news magazines. I listen to quite a lot of music (rock, jazz, hip-hop and neo-soul.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been in a voodoo convent in Ouidah, Benin. That was kind of scary.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to put my History degree to use! I can teach French or English, a bit of music. I'd like to learn more languages, photography, how to sew, how to play the cello... the list is too long. What I really like is share ideas on culture, and, er, anything, really.
