ABOUT ME

I'm sensitive, intuitive, and genuinely happy. I believe that cultivating a sense of gratitude and being in service to others are the keys to enjoying life. I'm flexible and love to go with the flow but I prefer positive people.

I am an artist first and foremost. This philosophy informs the way I see the world. Visual art, writing, collage, singing and the healing arts are what drive me. Yoga is my second love and dance is pure joy. Movement is essential.

My beliefs, feelings and experiences with my art and my job are complex. Sometimes they challenge. Sometimes they resonate. All fear of opinions aside, I love talking about them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I occasionally get to surf. I have been able to host once, which I hope to do much more of soon! I have enjoyed coffee with surfers and have had some wonderful Potlucks with them as well. I hold dear the life-long girlfriends I have made thru this site!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This amazing network has introduced me to people in Hawaii, Israel, my own back yard, Costa Rica, Cali, Colorado and more. I've enjoyed hikes, great meals and conversations, pot-lucks and music. A few couches slept on. A floor slept on. A bike day in Los Angeles. New friends. The experiences have been amazing.

Interests

I hike, camp, draw, paint, sing, clean (weird, i know), go hear live music, look around and think, drink wine, practice yoga, knit, run, eat, dance, poi (always looking for someone to show me a new move!), give massages and reiki, bike, play guitar, travel and cook. I love good conversation, intellectual debate and Laughing!! I also love to collect random things off the ground for art projects...some of which I actually complete! I love walking in the mountains or on the beach.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I love Blue Grass, country, classical, Kirtan (chanting), religious songs of all flavors, some pop, drumming, didgeridoo, anything with strings, show tunes, disney songs of my youth that I still can't get out of my head and musicals!!! If it makes a sound, I love it.
Books and Movies: massage and health info always intrigues me. Movies are hit or miss so I tend to not name a genre.
