About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Save the World! No really, I was WOnder Woman for halloween.

ABOUT ME

I'm a person. I have hair, 2 feet, 2 arms, etc. Haha. (I think I'm funny sometimes, but really I'm just dumb). No, I cook. I bike, I love to travel. I live in Portland now, but I'm originally from central California. I'm big on the whole 'people' thing. Family, relationships, friendships, aquaintanceships(?)....I like them all. They're good

PHILOSOPHY

Wow. I don't know how to put this into words. I guess it's actually pretty simple. Make the most of it. Of everything- life, relationships, the world, time, whatever. Enjoy yourself, watchout for each other, help if you can (it feels good), contribute whatever way you can. Don't be a bitter person, life's too short.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Here and there in Portland for a few months (just with friends) after I got back from Europe and was looking for a new place. I would have surfed in Europe, but I didn't know this whole site existed until I got back. Crappy, huh? I got to surf a little in Colombia though, that was cool.

Interests

Riding my bike EVERYWHERE. I love my bike. I love getting outdoors (as much hiking, camping, river floatin' & swimmin', and stuff like that as possible, please). I love Portland, cooking, beer, cap guns, animals, dancing, my friends, good music, and mini bikes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. Independent everything is better. If it's mainstream or top 40, chances are I'll think it's dumb. I'm biased, I know. Reading is good. I love movies. I love music. Listen, watch, and read as much as possible. It's good for you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lot's I guess. Cooked in the French alps for a couple of months, climbed coconut trees on a beach in Colombia (with a machete), rode my bike from Seattle to Portland (206 miles) in 2 days. I hung out in Stone Gosser's (guy from Pearl Jam) apartment once (he wasn't there). One time I saw a dog in a wheelchair. He was running, that was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I guess cooking is my obvious and most shareable skill. There's other things too, but I don't really know what- you'll have to figure it out for yourself if you ever meet me I guess. I love to teach, I love to learn, I love to share. Yup, those are generally all good things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands
