About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well it was to try and not return to the Uk until october 2008...... but it would seem that has come rather easily - next mission: Mongolia, China, Tibet, Nepal & India by motorbike starting June 2009.....better get saving!!

ABOUT ME

I like to spend as much of my life as possible laughing, riding my bike and travelling. I love meeting new people, experiencing new places and life on the road. I simply try and enjoy life as much as i can regardless of where in the world i may be.

PHILOSOPHY

It'll be fine.........
Just do it, worry about it when it all goes wrong. And when you resolve that situation you know that you can cope with more than you ever expected. Then start all over again. I think this can be applied to so much - travel, sport, love, friendship - the list is endless. drop yourself in the deep end and you will be forced to sort it out. Learn hard and fast. You may come out of some situations bruised but you will learn something along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I put a message up years ago called "India Alone". As much as anything it was to fill up some of my very wet and rainy lunch hour. I did not think it would lead to anything....
A Italian girl replied saying she wanted to go to india but not alone and hoped to meet me out there. An idle threat I thought but lo and behold christmas came, she arrived (much to both mine and my friends suprise), we spent almost 2 weeks travelling rajasthan toghether and just spent the entire time laughing.

Since then I moved to New Zealand to work and decided to make life that little bit more interesting and now host travellers regularily.

I now live in central brisbane and am saving to go on another adventure early 2011

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a year travelling through india and asia, mainly by motorbike. The most amazing year of my life. I will never forget riding through India especially with a rucksack tied to the back of the bike with my compass mounted on the handlebars, passing through remote villages meeting some of the worlds most amazing people. Just waiting for the next journey to commence in a year or so........

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: Don't eat yellow snow
LEARN: How to skydive
SHARE: To put your life in danger from time to time.....breeds a saneness in dealing with day to day trivialities.

Andorra, Austria, Cambodia, France, Greece, India, Laos, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam
