PHILOSOPHY

The most important about life is the travel, not the destination.

And of course: live your dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Almost one year we were on the way with the bike to Africa. Every day we try to stay over by people we meet on the road, in the villages, etc. That's what we like the most: to get to known the people of the country we visit by living together, spending some time at their place and feel home wherever we are. Our goal was to find a local organisation with a good filosophy to support their own communitz.
Because we found such a nice project, we took a temporary break with cycling and are staying Gondar, Ehtiopia. So we can support this organisation "Yenege Tesfa"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We staid some nights by a couchsurf-friend in Avignon, in Istanbul and in Damascus. We do like the couchsurfing-concept, especially in the bigger cities. Because we have everything with us (matrass, sleeping bags, food...), we dont need much. Only a place to sleep for two.

Interests

We both are interested in people. What they think and feel, how they live, what their opinion is... That's one reason why we like to travel. We both love to be in the nature. We like good food, watching movies, reading books, dancing, relaxing in a sauna...
