ABOUT ME

I am happy when the sun is shining and I'm surrounded by nature, so the south of France is a good place for me at the moment!

Since 2002 I have lived in Asia, 6 years in Thailand, with some shorter stints in Portugal, New Zealand, South Korea. A few years ago I took a job in Moscow and lived in Russia for a while, where I met my lovely husband.

In March 2013, we moved to France and I now live in Antibes and work in Monaco.
My husband is Russian and speaks English.
I speak English, French, Russian and Thai (not very well, but I do my best!)

We love to be outside and visit new places and eat good food.
My husband Grisha likes to run and keep fit and he also does a lot of Thai Boxing and martial arts.

We would love to meet people in the area and can host sometimes, depending on our plans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Usually when I move to a new place Couch Surfing is my lifeline! In Moscow I attended a lot of meetings and random activities at the weekends.
I was always happy to meet people in Bangkok and show them around..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lovely guy from Argentina in Auckland who took me out for Korean food. It is great to have a contact when you are new in a city!
After living there for a few months, I met a French guy for coffee and helped him to plan his travels.
I also made contacts in Portugal whilst living there for a few months last year and have had fun with Couchsurfers in Milan and London too!

There is always something going on and they are a super friendly helpful bunch!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love lots of music for all kinds of reasons. I like to chill out to acoustic sounding stuff and dance to ska/dub/funk/hip hop/soul/reggae!

I like anything that is positive and that you can learn from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a retreat in the south of Thailand which I can honestly say has changed my life!
It also taught me that everything is amazing, it just depends how you look at it.
