ABOUT ME

Basically I am an academic person in my late 40s. I came from Panay Island in Antique, where the sea and the mountains are part of my joy and life. We have a house there, and my relatives and friends are more than willing to welcome a visitor. My wife is from Zamboanga City, and we are trying to have a guest house in the middle of an idyllic fish pond in Bolong village. We welcome visitors as long as they share in our food, utilities and living expenses. We live in a University apartment inside the campus, and we have one extra room reserved for visitors. Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Volunteer work with a Japanese group which provided a water system in our town in Pandan, Antique. I did graduate studies in Japan, and was able to work, live and act like a Japanese in Tokyo for 4 years between 1990 to 1994.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We are most happy to welcome 1 or 2 visitors, and if our home is uncomfortable we could help identify hostel accomodation within the campus. My kids go to school during the day, and I usually do my work at home or in the college office. When I don't have classes, or engaged in extra work, I am willing to guide visitors in Manila or nearby, or in the Visayas and Mindanao, teach them about our culture, food, and behavior, as long as they share in the expenses and provide some token compensation for my time.
