About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Understanding Health & Happiness in a global context!

ABOUT ME

Wow! me in a paragraph, ok...
I am interested in most everything, but television. I've always thought a lot. I try to pay attention to my dreams. I'm not embarrassed about eating well or exercising. I'm concerned about the environment, and what I/we can do for it. I like animals, plants too. Even children! I'm lucky to have great friends and family. I am very liberal. I like taking risks. I know reincarnation to be real, as I have died of laughter many times only to come back for more. I resist asking the question "so what do you do?", nor do I answer "how much do you bench?". I love original films, documentaries too. I've always had a thing for good pants. I speak English & French. I look forward to getting to know couch surfers around the world. I genuinely hope you have a stellar day!! ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm currently living my life to a) ask questions b) seek answers c) catch a glimpse of what human experience can be d) gain some understanding of reality and possibility e) have fun seeking health & happiness, and sharing what I can with others f) be interested/interesting!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm brand new at CS, I am in the beginnings of my efforts towards couch surfers success. For now I pledge to a) be a great guest b) tell cool people all about how to use CS in providing/finding a couch c) promote a healthy lifestyle!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my best experience surfing on a coach/hide-a-bed with my friend in Paris. He schooled me on how French people really live/talk/think, and enabled me to forge new friendships in France. Hostels are cool, but surfing really kicks ass!!

Interests

Any list will be incomplete but here's an effort towards conveying my (REALLY) broad interests. I'm intrested in
Psychology, philosophy, business, fitness, health, culture, language, media, computing, environments, meditation, spirituality, comedy, consciousness, clothing, biography, history, cause & effect, law, real economics, reflection, quantum physics (for dummies!), housing, communities, sustainable development, preventative health care, drugs, sociology, geography, archeology, anthropology, literature, news, finance, institutions, human potential, vision, psychiatry, memory, perception, conversation, politics, manufacturing, invention, physiology, demographics, the future, the present, Borat....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Depends what you consider amazing. I find seeing break dancer and snow/skate boarders blows my mind. Then again so does a magnified view of human tissues beside Hubble telescope pics. And actually, when I learn and think a little about what it takes scientifically to produce any given action or historically to arrive at any end, I can fall into a state of perma-wonder pretty easily. Not trying to duct the question but just being honest, I'd have to say that everything that I or anyone/anything has ever done is amazing in some way(s), and seeing that is about as good as anything I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pro-actively pursuing health and happiness, using tools of Philosophy, Food, Exercise, Psychology, Recreation and Communication, mostly! Career, university education, personal past time and professional credentials as "Professional Fitness & Lifestyle Consultant". My interests are, as mentioned, all encompassing (with the exception of tv talk!) and I enjoy learning about anything interesting and helpful. I share my thoughts and fruit shakes with anyone interested!
