I recently finished my teaching degree; now I can look forward to years of summers full of traveling. First on the list is Peru in 2008.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that being nice is underrated. Smiling, saying thank you, or letting someone who's desperate cut in line can create a positive vibration that will affect the world around you in ways you can't imagine.

Music and dancing, theatre and comedy, long walks, and lying in the sun.

I love to learn--from books or people. Reading is definitely my greatest passion. But my favorite thing to do is talk to interesting people over a few drinks and good food.

I read mostly fiction. Favorite authors include Paulo Coehlo, Kurt Vonnegut, Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Kate Chopin, John Irving, and Milan Kundera.
