About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet other interesting travellers

ABOUT ME

I enjoy travel and adventure and have recently opted for major life change by taking a career break and moving to NZ - enjoyed it but felt the lure of this cool country and have recently returned. I am not one to sit in front of the telly and like to meet other travellers and people from anywhere and everywhere if they share a similar philosophy. Life is too short to waste!
Recently moved to Formby North of Liverpool

PHILOSOPHY

Live life - its too short to waste. Be fair and recognize that we are all well off in the big scheme of things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted plenty of travelers in my old home town of York and enjoyed meeting a range of interesting people and nice people from around the world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never formally couch surfed - but I have found that the most memorable experiences have come when I least expect them from the hospitality and insights of local and genuine people. Many of whom I am lucky enough to still call friends

Interests

Travel, adventure, sports etc. I will try anything at least once. When not pursuing those I enjoy expanding my mind including doing a degree, learning Spanish and dancing amongst other things.

  • dancing
  • traveling
  • sports

Music, Movies, and Books

Travel books and autobiographies but not a great lover of fiction - if only I had time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots; but trekking in remote Pakistan for a month amongst friendly people was pretty awesome.
Also get to Laos, the Philippines and remote Indonesia before its too late

Teach, Learn, Share

Be brave. Sure we all need common sense but I think the most memorable occasions are when we broaden our horizons however much.
Always good to share those experiences
