I live on my sailboat in Haines, Alaska when I'm not on the road.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm always searching for ways of being in this world that feel good and true, which often differs radically from the dominant social paradigm. I believe we humans can do a much better job of co-existing with each other and the rest of our biosphere than we're doing right now, and I hope to be a catalyst/ agitator for positive change in my lifetime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the course of my travels I've stayed with over 30 wonderful folks through CS and hosted the distinguished Mr. Jos, among others.

Growing food, foraging, wandering in the woods, getting knocked down by waves, climbing trees, bikes, trains, urban decay, not buying stuff, building things, conversations that last for days, going too fast on motorcycles, etc etc etc. So much to do in this world!
