ABOUT ME

I am quietly going insane.
I think I'd surprise most people upon first glance because I doubt I am who or what you'd think.

I will always quit drinking tomorrow and I quit smoking yesterday. I read a lot but never remember most of it. I suck at card games but love to play. I don't lie but plans change. If I can find a way to set it in stone then I'm well off, like buying a plane ticket before I have money saved for the trip usually works.
I would much rather ride my bike or walk somewhere than to be in a car and I would much rather sleep outside under the stars then in a box. I don't get paid to advertise so I will never wear something with a logo or a brand name big enough to read. I like spiders, snakes, scorpions and bats. I sleep with bugs and rodents. I am an on the whim traveler who doesn't care for the conveniences that most need. I am horrible at planning trips so I usually just pick an area and say okay that's it.

I am happy when I am moving and I bore very easily when not. I feel stagnant most times, but then again until you move there you are. I was born under a wondering star.

For quite sometime now I have owned nothing more than a weeks worth of clothes, some backpacking essentials and a few books. I prefer it this way. My father and my second family mean more to me than anything in this world.

PHILOSOPHY

To be open in the world in which you find yourself, to be able to experience wonder at its magnificence is to begin to see its reality and adapt to it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few and have surfed more than some.
I am always willing to meet for coffee or a drink.
If you are coming through and have questions or concerns let me know.

I live in the Forests alone in my tent. Come camp out with me for a few days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived alone in the woods during the winter in the mountains of New Mexico where night time temps regularly exceeded -20f. Lived in an old school bus for a while. Moved to Taos, NM

I can teach you how to make some pretty awesome Middle Eastern Food.
Always want more recipes.

I can also show you how to make a cooking stove for yourself out of two beer cans.
