ABOUT ME
Recently moved from rural Northern California to attend the London Film School MA Screenwriting Program. I've lived in Berlin, New York, San Francisco and a ton of tiny towns in the mountains of Califonia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've spend an inordinate amount of time on people's couches and floors in the past. I travelled in Scotland, France and Poland this way. I usually knew the person through a mutual friend but we first met when I showed up at their front door. What can I say, I like Europe for the people, food, lifestyle. I'm relaxed and enjoy assimilating with surroundings. Generally people don't think I'm from the USA because I'm not loud and annoying!
Interests
Let's see. I've made low budget films back home, generally about the oddball characters I grew up around. They helped me get into grad school but never made it into any film festival. Also enjoy photographing ordinary objects and portraits of people (had a few photo shows and managed to make some dough!) I like throwing myself into situations where I don't know what to expect (travelling) This usually shatters my judgements about people/places (A good thing)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
road trips alone. Driving the California coast in a rain storm listening to music and drinking coffee. It's all about the journey, mountains, fog, cliffs, redwood trees.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you how to play trumpet, focus a camera. Tell you what it was like growing up jewish in a redneck town, teach you that all Americans aren't brainwashed.
